We formed Occam Crest in 2021 with a desire to do things differently.
After decades in major firms managing billions in AUM, we knew there was a more efficient way of unlocking the market’s potential. Recognizing the value we could create, we saw an opportunity to start a niche investment firm, free of conflicts of interest and legacy encumbrances, and apply our large firm expertise exclusively to investing in the SMID sector.
Inspired by Occam’s Razor, “the simplest solution is usually the best”, Occam Crest founder Sturgis Woodberry believed a smaller firm, focused on a singular mission (Uncovering Value in Corporate Change), would differentiate itself. Now, three years on from inception, we are delighted to say that our vision has been fully validated.
