John Ajay is a Senior Analyst at Occam Crest Management. Mr. Ajay has over 20 years of professional investing experience, including over 15 years working as an analyst or portfolio manager at multi-billion dollar investment firms that include Akre Capital, Iridian Asset Management, Shumway Capital and Oppenheimer Capital.
During his tenure at such firms, Mr. Ajay acquired firsthand financial analyst experience covering five key sectors of the market: healthcare, consumer, industrials, financials and TMT across the full range of the equity market capitalization. Mr. Ajay managed his own investment advisor, namely Ajay Capital Management LLC, prior to joining Occam Crest.
He and Sturgis have known each other for over 25 years and worked continuously for the last nine years. Mr. Ajay received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School (1999) and a B.A./B.A. in Computer Science & Economics from Rice University (1993).
He attended Rice University on a full-tuition merit scholarship and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (1998).
